Contacting the University About COVID-19 Infection (updated November 9)

To all students, faculty, and staff

 

Please be informed of the following information.

 

(1) If a positive diagnosis is confirmed

[1] Students

Please notify the university’s Health Center (healthcenter@rikkyo.ac.jp).

*Check here for details and inquiries about absences from class.

 

[2] Faculty

Please notify the university’s Health Center (healthcenter@rikkyo.ac.jp).

*As soon as you have notified us through the Health Center, the Academic Affairs Office will contact you to discuss future classes.

*Check “18. Handling of entry and classroom instruction regarding infection of teacher-affiliated employees (include part-time lecturer)” here for handling of conducting classes.

*Check here about handling of reporting for work.


[3] Staff

Please notify the university’s Health Center (healthcenter@rikkyo.ac.jp).

Please also contact your supervisor.

(2) If there is a risk of infection

Check “Campus Entry Possibility RegardingCOVID-19” for information if there is a risk of infection.

[1] Students

(a) Those identified as a close contact by a healthcare center (including those who live with someone, such as a family member, who was diagnosed positive)

Please notify the university’s Health Center (healthcenter@rikkyo.ac.jp).

(b) Those other than the above

Contacting the Health Center is unnecessary.

[2] Faculty employees (updated November 9)

If either (a) or (b) below applies, please send this form to the Headquarters for COVID-19 Countermeasures (covid-report@rikkyo.ac.jp).

The Headquarters for COVID-19 Countermeasures will then share the information with the Academic Affairs Office.

(a) You have been identified as a close contact by a public health center (including if you live with someone, such as a family member, who has been diagnosed positive)

(b) If any of the other “at risk of infection” cases described in "Campus Entry Possibility RegardingCOVID-19" are applicable and you are in charge of face-to-face classes or find it difficult to conduct online classes

*The Academic Affairs Office may contact you to confirm class implementation depending on the content reported on the above form. In addition, please see here for the contact method/information for Academic Affairs (for the college to which you belong or the college offering the course of which you are in charge) to discuss class implementation, etc.

*Refer to "18. Campus Entry and Handling of Conducting Classes Regarding the Infection of Faculty Employees (Including Part-time Lecturers)" here for details on conducting classes.
