Taking into account the societal
circumstances concerning COVID-19 and taking safety measures, the university is
proceeding with gradual relaxation of restrictions on entry into campus and
expansion of use of various on-campus facilities.
Entry to campus and reception counter
services are as follows for the duration of the fall semester.
* This may vary depending on the circumstances of
contagion. In addition, we will inform the community at another time about the
fall and winter recess periods, the final exam period, the General Entrance
Exam period, and how circumstances will be handled thereafter.
■ About Entry to Campus
1) About entry
In addition to checkpoints at the time of entry, body temperature
will be taken from September 21 (Mon.). If
your temperature is 37.5℃ or higher, you will not be allowed to enter campus.
principle, students attending classes or seminars or who have received entry
permission or school visit instructions (including students doing
extracurricular activities) may enter campus. Students must bring their Student
ID Card when entering the university. It is necessary to present a Student ID
Card at a checkpoint when entering.

Identification Cards are necessary when entering campus.
III. Those from outside the university community
Please contact the department of your visit in advance. The relevant
department will provide instructions.
2) About entry locations (checkpoint and temperature-measurement
Campus : Main Gate*, Tucker Gate, Gakuin North Gate, South Gate to Bldg. No.5,
Side Gate to Bldg. No.6
* Entrance for
students will be prioritized, so we ask that all faculty, staff, and those from
outside the university community entering on the south side of campus cooperate
in using Tucker Gate or Gakuin North Gate.

3) Precautions for coming to school/work
・ If your
temperature is 37.5℃ or higher, you will not be allowed
to enter campus.
・ Be sure to
wear a mask.
・ Carry out
proper cough etiquette.
・ Be thorough
in washing hands and gargling; disinfect hands as necessary.
・ See “Campus Entry Possibility Regarding COVID-19” if you have symptoms such as a cold or fever.
■ About Reception Counters for All
We ask that during the above period you make inquiries to any of the
counters from 10:30-15:30 Monday-Friday or 10:30-12:30 Saturday after also
checking “Measures for All
Administrative Departments” below.
However, in-person reception at counters is only available to those who have
been individually notified, according to the content handled by each
(Inquiries to the Independent Graduate Schools Office are 13:30–19:30 Monday-Friday or 11:00-16:00
